Community Allotment
Firstly we'd like to thank
Maryport Town Council
and the
Allotment Committee Chairman
for giving us permission to sell the produce from the allotment. Any money made will go back into the Community Allotment and Hall Fund where it will help the Community Allotment, Youth club and Hall fund.
We'd also like to thank
Steve Abbot
from
Goldschmidt (UK) Ltd
for donating much needed water butts.
There are now two people working on the Community Allotment -
Joe Fisher
and
Ian McGarr
. As a result, from the middle of May, there will be lots of fresh organic produce for sale. Fresh carrots, cabbage, cauliflowers, potatoes, peas, beans, onions, lettuce, radish, beetroot, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, along with eggs will all be on sale.
As usual local schools will be visiting the alloment throughout the year. To place an order, find out prices and opening times contact
Carol Tindall
or via email
at
flimbychpg@googlemail.com
Please help support your community and patronize the allotment.
